Your job

We are looking for a Technical SEO specialist to help us grow our business organically in Europe. You will be part of the performance marketing team, a team of specialists in digital advertising, web analytics & growth hacking. You will also be the second SEO specialist to join our team, working as a peer to our current Technical SEO specialist. Together we strive to grow our business by making an impact at each stage of the funnel.🤸🤸

You will be in charge of creating and executing a scalable SEO strategy focused on our DACH market and other regions that help us grow organically.

Your contribution will be to source opportunities for organic growth and lead their implementation. To do so you will need a strategic mindset with a hands-on mentality to solve problems yourself as well as the ability to work in a team and manage projects with stakeholders from other

departments.

The success of your role will be measured in increases of qualified organic traffic to our website, and increases in organic traffic conversions from the focus regions you’ll be working on, in the first instance DACH.

Your challenges

• You will design a DACH SEO strategy in collaboration with our Global SEO specialist. We do not tell you what to do, you will tell us! If needed, you will manage local SEO agencies;

• Perform ongoing keyword research including the discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities;

• You will support the current link-building strategy in collaboration with our campaign marketers and regional agencies;

• Track, report, and analyze organic traffic and its performance;

• Based on your findings you will make recommendations to our front-end team or take the necessary measures yourself;

• Research and implement content recommendations for organic SEO success focused on DACH and provide support to other regions together with our Global SEO Specialist;

• You will work closely with our SEA specialist, our Global SEO specialist, and the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code;

• Work with brand marketing and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming throughout the funnel.

Who are you?

• You have excellent written and spoken German language skills (C2 level proficiency), with a good command of English;

• Proven SEO experience for at least 3-5 years, preferably in B2B/ SaaS;

• Analytical and creative mindset;

• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms;

• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs);

• You can turn data into insightful reports, understandable to different types of audiences;

• Solid understanding of performance marketing, CRO, and lead generation;

• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments;

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints;

• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM;

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. e.g. in a quantitative, test-driven field;

• Previous experience in scale-up phase company;

• Connector and strong communicator;

• Can-do mentality. You can solve problems autonomously as well as together with a team.

Other requirements

• You are living in Berlin, or at least travel distance to our Berlin office;

• You are willing to come to our Berlin office for two days/week;

• You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit;

• You are available for at least 32 hours per week (4 days).
  

Your journey at Channable
