Job description
As Performance Marketing Team Lead, you will take the reins of our acquisition / demand-gen strategy, encompassing demand-gen and demand-capture campaigns, supported by organic and paid channels. You’ll ensure that every campaign is optimized and aligns seamlessly with Channable’s acquisition goals, reporting on pipeline revenue metrics.
Our commercial operations include Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing divisions, which report to the Chief Revenue Officer. The Marketing department consists of four teams: Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation. In this role, you'll report directly to the Head of Marketing.
Your job
Campaign Performance: develop a comprehensive campaign roadmap, considering company targets for every region and vertical, market seasonality, ICP needs, resources, and campaign creatives to maximize results. Translate company targets (Traffic, MQLs, Users, Revenue) into a comprehensive demand-generation strategy including organic (content and SEO) and paid channels (paid search, display, paid social), to ensure campaigns are continuously optimized for performance across regions, channels, and target segments;
Paid Media Strategy: develop and execute a performance marketing plan in alignment with Channable’s acquisition strategy, defining the most effective digital marketing channels and allocating budgets to maximize ROI;
SEO: work closely with the Technical SEO Specialists to ensure website content, structure, and technical aspects are optimized for search visibility, supporting a sustainable growth strategy;
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): manage experiments to gather insights to improve acquisition flows and increase website conversion rates. Analyze experiment results and apply findings to optimize user experience and maximize conversions.
Leadership: Lead and manage a team of specialists, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to help the team achieve individual and collective goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Analytics and reporting: establish robust tracking, attribution, and reporting mechanisms to monitor campaign performance in real-time and key metrics (MQLs, ROAS, Revenue). Generate regular reports and insights for senior management, providing actionable recommendations for future campaigns.
Budget management: collaborate with Data and Finance teams to improve attribution models and forecast growth.

Meet targets on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs);
Meet targets on Commits (converted leads);
Improved ROI across paid media channels;
Clear and actionable reporting;
Clarity on a long-term paid media strategy and, at the same time, agile processes to ensure campaign timely optimization;
Enhanced organic search performance, with a sustainable SEO strategy and execution.
Job requirements
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in performance marketing, preferably within the SaaS industry.
In-depth knowledge of demand-gen and paid media strategies, including SEO, SEA, paid social, and CRO. Deeply understanding (preferably hands-on experience) in PPC campaigns' mechanics, including bid management, audience testing, and creative asset building.
Proficient in using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Super metrics, Hubspot, Billy Grace).
Results-oriented: You excel at developing and overseeing highly efficient acquisition programs, focusing on profitability metrics such as ROI, or ROAS. You ensure sustainable growth and maximize returns.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Proactive, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience managing budgets and reporting on ROI.

You’re available for at least 4 days a week (32 hours);
You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week;
You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship;
You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move.

The salary range based on 40 hours is between gross € 4.800 - € 6.200 per month within a clear career & salary structure 💸💸
