Are you seeking a marketing opportunity within eCommerce? 


Join our dynamic and international team at our Utrecht office, where you'll work alongside three colleagues: Rebecca, Judit and Ehsan. We’re currently seeking an additional team member to complete our Demand Generation team managed by Jacob.🤸‍♀️Within the Marketing department, we have four small teams: one focusing on Performance Marketing, another on Brand Marketing, the Product Marketing team, and lastly, our Demand Generation team, comprising a total of 26 colleagues.


Your job

As a Sr. Demand Generation Manager, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and implementing strategies. You will also initiate and coordinate campaigns and events that generate interest and engagement from potential customers. You will be joining the campaign hub team together with 3 other skilled Demand-Gen managers, where you will work closely with our Brand, Product, and Performance marketing departments to ensure we reach our quarterly/yearly goals.


Job requirements

Your challenges

  • Identify campaign opportunities: you will work closely together with the brand and product marketing departments to identify relevant campaign opportunities that focus on our ideal customer profile, with the goal of generating traffic, interest, and engagement from potential customers - driving new leads to feed the business pipeline;

  • Campaign management: when opportunities have been identified you will be in the lead of creating the campaign briefs, setting the objectives and targets, identifying the target audience, stakeholders, and key assets, setting the timeline, milestones, and promotion plan as well as coordinating the campaigns;

  • Hitting your targets: to measure the interest and engagement you will be aiming to reach quarterly traffic and MQL goals (sign-ups or demo requests) globally;

  • Communicate with stakeholders: to help you coordinate the campaigns, you will have to utilize your strong communication skills to ensure all stakeholders are informed about the timeline and all other campaign elements;

  • Utilize data to make decisions: to help you measure the success of your campaigns you will work closely together with the performance marketing team to identify and monitor all the key metrics;

  • Community building: Besides running campaigns, part of your job will also be to identify and create activations (networking events, roundtables, webinars, masterclasses) towards relevant communities;

  • Budget ownership: a yearly budget will be assigned to your team to distribute across markets, events, and activities. You will be responsible for creating a strategy around this budget, using your budget management skills to also identify and negotiate the possible deals;

  • Subject matter expert: as a support act, and depending on your skill set, you will become the subject matter expert in areas such as 3rd Media & Communities, Email Campaigns, Content Driven Events, Review Sites, or webinar series, being responsible for the process, investments, and results;

  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices: together with the team you will strive to stay up to date with industry trends, demand-gen strategies, and other best practices that will help you excel in your job.


Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field;

  • 4-6 years of experience in demand generation or related roles such as Marketing Manager, Coordinator, Specialist, or similar position;

  • Experience in the fields of SaaS, online marketing, or eCommerce is required. Furthermore, a background in Marketing or Agency is preferred;

  • High level autonomy: able to make critical decisions, set strategic directions, as well as exercise resource allocation and budget management;

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in analyzing data and making data-driven decisions;

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

  • You have excellent written and verbal English skills. Having a C2 level proficiency in German or fluent German skills (C1 level proficiency) is a plus, since Germany is one of our focus markets;

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and campaigns;

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;

  • You are eager to learn and grow in the demand generation field;

  • Experience with tools like Hubspot, GA4, and Monday.com would be helpful.


Other requirements

  • You are living in Utrecht, or at least travel distance to our Utrecht office;

  • You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week;

  • You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit;

  • You are available to travel to local community events both abroad and in the Netherlands;

  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week (4 days).
