Product Manager (Core: AI/Rules)

Our product team is looking for a product manager to strengthen our core and AI features. In this role you’ll be working on one of our largest feature-set and collaborate with a dedicated AI team to ensure new technologies yield maximum impact for our customers!

Your role

Channable became the leading multi-channel ecommerce platform due to its feed-management foundations. These foundations are captured in the ‘Core’ domain and encapsulate features like our rules engine, data importer, feed quality score and AI driven features like Smart Attributes and Smart Categories. As a Product Manager Core/AI it will be your main responsibility to ensure that the core functionality of Channable remains innovative and competitive.

Keeping up with the latest developments and opportunities the Artificial Intelligence technologies can provide is a big part of the role. We’ve just released Smart Attributes and have identified a lot of problems that AI technology can provide a solution to. Your role as PM will be to keep up with developments, interview users and thought leaders in the space and be the face and voice of AI driven solutions.

As stated above, our rules engine and data importer are amongst the most valuable features of our tool. And as the e-commerce ecosystem changes they also need to keep up to solve emerging problems. Internally we also refer to them as our ‘best kept secret’ and that is something that we would like to change. So as PM Core/AI you will also be responsible for engaging with the feed-management community to ensure our value proposition is well known and understood.

Both domains have strong development teams behind them and some of their challenges are technical in nature. It’s therefore important that you like to solve technical challenges that strengthen our user-facing features. As well as be a sparring partner for our development leads; bringing technology and our product features closer together.

Your challenges:

• Understand the needs of our customers through qualitative and quantitative user research;

• Work closely with designers, engineers and product marketeers to ship a product that helps marketers all around the globe;

• Coordinate product launches with our (product) marketing, operations and commercial teams;

• Define the strategy for your product offering and get buy-in for executing your ideas;

• Be the industry expert on trends in feed management and AI optimization and share this knowledge internally and externally

Your skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in a B2B SaaS company;

• Familiarity with solving technical problems that strengthen customer facing features;

• A proven track record of bringing solutions from 0-1 and iterating based on feedback;

• Demonstrable experience with product discovery, design and delivery activities.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and anticipate future opportunities and challenges.

• Experience building products that include machine learning/LLMs based solutions is a strong plus;

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus.

Practical requirements

• You are willing to work from our Utrecht office min. 2 days/week;

• You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit for the Netherlands;

• You are available for at least 32 hours a week.

• Gross starting salary of €3.700-€5.300 per month based on your experience (based on 40 hours/week).
