Your job

As Manager Integrations, you will be responsible for guiding the success and growth of the Integrations team. In this role, you will lead a team currently consisting of 2 team leads and 9 engineers, and that performs two primary functions.

Integrations Engineers are experts in our integrations with web shops, marketplaces, and online advertising channels. They are responsible for resolving issues reported by customers for our integrations, and work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to maintain our integrations.

Solutions Engineers provide technical consulting and build custom import integrations during pre-sales and onboarding for mid-market and enterprise customers, coming up with creative solutions to help ensure a smooth and successful onboarding for our customers.

Your challenges

Integrations Leadership

  • Refining the scope of both engineering roles and positioning the teams correctly within the company.

  • Setting and monitoring team goals that align with company OKRs.

  • Scaling and innovating operations to help the teams efficiently and effectively overcome challenges and achieve team goals.

  • Participating in cross-departmental discussions to adapt policies and processes to address problems facing the team and Channable.

  • Providing guidance for the team in prioritizing and organizing tasks from multiple work streams, while safeguarding boundaries of team scope of responsibilities.

Team Management & Coaching

  • Build and support high-performing teams by recruiting, training, and retaining talent.

  • Oversee team performance, and motivate the team to achieve established goals and expectations.

  • Support team leads (and team members) in their professional development and success, helping connect them with opportunities and resources.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that aligns with Channable company culture & values.

Who are you?

  • You have 3+ years of experience in management and leading technical teams.

  • You have relevant engineering work experience, and understand what processes are required to develop and support technical integrations.

  • You lead with empathy, and are focused on supporting and empowering teams to grow and overcome challenges. You bring a positive attitude and genuine interest in the team's well-being.

  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, and aren’t afraid to blaze new trails when there isn't an existing process.

  • You are a good listener who regularly incorporates feedback into your work, and consistently shares the why behind decisions.

  • You have excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. You manage ambiguity and find middle-ground between stakeholders when solving problems.

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing team leads.

  • Experience in application development, preferably in Python.

  • Experience working in eCommerce, preferably on a SaaS product.

Other requirements

  • You are available for at least 32 hours a week.

  • An EU citizenship or a valid work permit for The Netherlands.
