Please note that the official title of this role within Channable is Integrations Engineer. We are using the title Support Engineer for recruitment purposes. You can ask us more about it during our first conversation.
Your challenges
Investigate and solve challenging technical problems reported by colleagues, customers, and platform partners.
Perform detailed technical troubleshooting and debugging of our Python code, and make code changes to resolve issues.
Collaborate with team members and review each other's code changes.
Analyze API documentation and data feed specifications, and work with Product and Engineering teams to maintain Channable integrations with webshop platforms and marketplace channels.
Collaborate across departments to make improvements to Channable features or automate inefficient processes.
Improve technical troubleshooting tools and documentation.
Serve as an accessible subject-matter expert within the company on how Channable works.

Languages: Python(3.12), SQL
Libraries: Pydantic, typing, asyncio, aiohttp, requests, fastapi, pytest
Tools: Postgres, Alembic, mypy, Sentry

Job requirements
Who are you?
You have around 2+ years of professional experience within a technical environment.
You are comfortable debugging object-oriented Python code and implementing fixes to address issues.
You are a problem-solver, you enjoy debugging code and find creative solutions to difficult problems.
You have strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
You are able to communicate complex technical ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing, to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
You have some experience with API integrations, SQL and relational databases, Linux, git and command-line tools.
You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship.
You live in (or close to) Utrecht or are willing to move.
You are available for 32 or 40 hours per week.
Nice to have:
You have an affinity with e-commerce, like web shops or marketplaces integrations.
You have experience in a technical customer support role
You have experience working in cross-departamental collaboration

What do we offer?
Gross monthly salary ranging from €3.068 to €4.140 based on a 40-hour work week. The salary is determined based on your experience.
8% holiday allowance - 8% of your yearly salary, which is paid together with your May salary.
