You'll initiate and lead projects to improve the employee experience, together with the P&C team. We've created this position because we need a generalist to focus on improving the general employee experience and engagement.


Besides, we need someone to lead all projects in the P&C team who can focus on the progress, impact, and evaluation of our projects and initiatives.


This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of People & Culture.


With over 260 employees we work from our offices in Utrecht, Berlin, New York City, and Aarhus (Denmark). You will be working from our headquarters in Utrecht, in the People & Culture team.🔮


The People & Culture team consists of 3 sub-teams:

1. Talent Acquisition

2. Employee Experience

3. HR


Job requirements

Your job

  • You'll quarterly analyze all the P&C data that we have available. e.g. hiring data, sickness data, turnover data, and more. What does this say and what should we do? We want your input!

  • We're always looking for opportunities to increase our employee engagement. Besides the quantitative information we have available, we want you to be focused on continuous improvement. Whether small or big, as long as you believe we can make an impact, we love to hear.

  • You are responsible for the annual engagement survey. This includes the coordination, but also analysis of data. What are trends? How do departments differ? What should we work on as a company, but also on a department level? What are the most important buttons to push, and what should we do exactly? Besides the annual one, we have quarterly measurements of our eNPS. 🎭

  • Manage all projects that the P&C team works on to improve employee engagement. The topics are diverse, so we'll be looking for someone who has a broad understanding of the P&C topics (e.g. employee engagement, performance, organizational culture, internal communication, data). You'll lead all projects, but other team members could join as experts to reach the best result together. You also play a big role in the project, not only the coordination. Examples of projects could be reducing our sick leave, creating growth opportunities for employees, improving the candidate experience, increasing diversity and inclusion, etc.

  • You'll work on projects and initiatives related to our culture. This includes hosting a monthly culture workshop for new hires. All requests and projects related to culture will be you. 🧭

  • Next to the main responsibilities described above, you work together with our Office and IT teams as a representative of our team, to improve things from an employee perspective. You might also play a role in big company events like Channaweek, to have an employee perspective present.

  • We want to map and maintain the employee journey, to find points for improvements.


Who are you?

You're an all-around People & Culture specialist. You like to work together on many varying topics in the field of people & culture. We're looking for these skills:


  • Collaboration skills: it's easy for you to work together with different people. It's also easy for them to work with you. You're clear and motivational in your communication.

  • Strong project management skills: You've experience managing projects with people from different perspectives and departments. You know how to get everyone on board and guide change.

  • Analytical skills: You know how to analyze data efficiently and how to find the points for improvement.

  • Results-oriented: It's easy to get overwhelmed by data and all the initiatives we could work on. In this phase of the company, you can imagine there is still a lot to do. It's important you have a practical approach to making an impact on the work-life of our Channablers.

  • Open-minded: You can easily look at things from different angles. Mostly the employee perspectives, but to be successful in this role, you also need to be able to look from a company perspective. You're flexible; priorities can change and you know how to proceed if things change. And you're always aware of our global character, and you make initiatives global. 🎡


Other requirements

  • You have at least 3 years experience in HR or an Employee Experience job;
  • You have an affinity with HR analytics, preferably experience;
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in leading cross-team/departmental projects;
  • You have excellent written and spoken English language skills (C1 level);
  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week (4 days);

  • You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move;

  • You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week.
