The People & Culture team consists of 3 sub-teams: 

  1. Talent Acquisition

  2. Employee Experience

  3. HR

You’ll be joining the Talent Acquisition team alongside Judit🌷, who oversees Talent Acquisition for our non-tech departments. In this role, you’ll also work closely with Gio🚀, our former Tech Talent Acquisition Partner, who is now stepping into the role of HR Advisor for the Product and Engineering departments.

Are you someone who loves tech, connects easily with people, and is always up for a hiring challenge? We're looking for a Tech Talent Acquisition Partner to support our Product & Engineering departments by ensuring a smooth, quality-focused hiring process. 

In this role, you’ll shape a great candidate experience from start to finish, partner closely with team leads, make strategic recommendations and apply your creativity to our existing processes. Your challenges

  • Own the full hiring journey: source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates. You’ll dive deep into job needs, collaborate closely with team leads, and coach junior interviewers to make sure we’re bringing in the best talent;

  • You won’t just be taking orders; you’ll actively partner with team leads and higher management, challenging them when necessary. By asking critical questions and giving honest feedback, you’ll help ensure we hire candidates who not only have the technical skills but also bring the right attitude and Channable culture fit; 🔍

  • Dive into talent acquisition data - like offer acceptance rates, candidate feedback, and process efficiency - to uncover trends. Based on your findings, you’ll confidently recommend adjustments to management, whether it’s fine-tuning job requirements, revisiting salary benchmarks, or simplifying interview structures. Your data-driven insights will keep our hiring focused, competitive, and impactful;

  • Collaborate on creative sourcing, tech employer branding strategies. Some examples can be social media content creation, hosting meetups, attending conferences, and exploring new platforms, in addition to traditional channels like LinkedIn and Indeed. 💻

In addition to partnering with team leads and managing the hiring process, you’ll take on projects that help improve our hiring strategies. Some examples of projects that the Talent Acquisition team has worked on include: measuring Quality of Hire, implementing a Referral Portal, revamping our career page. 🎡

Job requirements

What you’ll bring

  • At least 2 years of proactive tech recruitment experience with a passion for connecting with top talent - or, a strong affinity with this role and field;

  • A passion for technology and a solid understanding of how developers think and work - even if you’re not one yourself; 

  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and the confidence to make data-driven recommendations;

  • You have excellent written and spoken English;

  • You’re available for at least 4 days a week (32 hours);

  • You are willing to come to our Utrecht office for two days/week;

  • You live in (or close to) Utrecht, or are willing to move;

  • You have a valid work permit for the Netherlands or EU citizenship.

  • The salary range based on 40 hours is between gross €3.800 - €4.600 per month within a clear career & salary structure; 💸💸
