What will your role be?
Channable is a fast-growing, international SaaS scale-up and we are looking for an experienced Platform Partnerships Manager to join our team. Channable is a Premier Partner for Google, a Facebook Business Partner and a Gold Integration Partner to Bol.com - to name a few ecosystems we are part of. You will leverage our existing relationships and build new ones to help Channable further conquer the complex eCommerce landscape.

Who will you work with?

Channable enables online retailers, brands, and agencies to sell and advertise globally by connecting the eCommerce platforms and advertising & sales platforms effectively. Externally, you will play a key role in Channable’s partnerships with channels like Google, Facebook, Amazon as well as e-commerce platform providers like Magento, Shopify, Lightspeed and WooCommerce. Internally, you will be a key partner to product & integration, marketing, sales, customer success and support teams. You will be part of Channable’s Growth team.

What will you do exactly?

You will be the face of Channable in the platforms landscape. You will bring your existing network of connections to major platforms and develop it further to nurture our strategic partnerships with platforms like Google, Amazon, Facebook and Bol.com. In a single day, you might discuss the details of a feature launch for our Google integration, work on an initiative to improve product catalog quality for Facebook/Instagram and join an annual event with Shopify to understand the challenges and solutions for today’s e-commerce players.

On top of acting in the best interest of Channable in these partnerships, you will also generously share your knowledge, findings and insights around the platforms with Channable leadership and internal stakeholders to:

  • Contribute to product strategy
  • Capture opportunities for new & existing business by closely working with the marketing team
  • Help integrations, product and support teams to have access to responsive counterparts
  • Inform commercial teams about the different platforms, e-commerce landscape and major changes

Who are you?

We want you to help us connect the dots. We want you to surf on the opportunities of today and tomorrow while keeping an eye on the long-term challenges coming our way in the platforms landscape. This is a challenging role, and we want you to be ready for it:

  • You need at least 8 years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing for eCommerce players. You must have first-hand experience with running digital marketing campaigns in-house / on the agency side for (preferably multiple) end clients, or, account management experience on the platform side for advertisers. (Online marketplace experience will also be considered where relevant)
  • You have an existing professional network of connections working for major eCommerce platforms, advertising platforms and marketplaces.
  • You have the discipline and tactics of an account executive to find the right decision-makers working for major platforms and connect with them meaningfully (you won’t do actual sales or carry a sales quota, though).
  • You have the experience and the desire to communicate the business value of product and marketing partnership opportunities.

Great to have

  • Having a technical understanding of platform ecosystems, especially APIs.
  • Experience in a role where you were the main point of contact for major platforms at another SaaS offering around digital marketing.
