As the new DACH Marketing Community Manager, you will be focused on attracting new members from the DACH region to join our online global community, as well as managing our marketing activities designed to inform and delight our Channa partners.
Build the regional marketing strategy focusing on driving brand awareness and inbound revenue growth by leading programs and marketing activities in multi-channel campaigns focusing on the DACH;
Develop and execute marketing activities to engage our target persona, conveying a cohesive narrative through both online channels (e.g., content marketing, emails, webinars, meetups, network sessions, or other scalable virtual experiences) and offline channels (e.g., local editions of the Impact Cube, trade shows, conferences, event promotion, exclusive field events for agencies, training days );
Manage our global Online Community, focusing on our target persona group (customers and prospects) to increase brand awareness, education, and engagement, by building and scale programs that drive membership, engagement, product innovation, and feedback;
Manage the localization of global activities regionally, working with our translation agency, making sure the final content is published, suitable for the local needs, and SEO proof;
Develop and execute multichannel marketing campaigns and promotional plans, involving local partners (e.g. co-marketing activities), thought leaders, relevant local media, and review sites, maximizing the return on investment in media buying and marketing spending;
Work in close collaboration with internal teams (Sales, CS, Brand, Product, and Growth Marketing), as well as external agencies to implement the regional marketing plan;
Manage the local marketing budget, presenting up-to-date project status;
Monitor, track, and report on feedback, engagement, and the number of active members, building dashboards within Hubspot, Monday.com, and Google Analytics to make reporting seamless and actionable.
Who are you?
4+ years of experience in a similar role, running, building, and cultivating a community, preferably in SaaS / B2B environment;
Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree. e.g. in communication, journalism, marketing, and brand management;
Organized, highly skilled in project and people management, being able to coordinate different projects simultaneously;
Strategic thinker, but with a hands-on attitude;
Good communication skills;
Energetic, independent, and with a positive attitude;
Happy leading projects, in close collaboration with a pull of colleagues, from different departments (Brand, Growth, and Product marketing teams, besides the regional Sales and CS teams), as well as external agencies and freelancers;
Data-driven, always on top of your budget, regional metrics (Google Analytics, Hubspot), and results without technical assistance;
Professional level of German language (C2 level);
Excellent mastery of the English language;
Are available for at least 4 days a week;
Live in (or close to) Utrecht, or willing to move.
Your journey at Channable
First 3 months
Understand our business, market, audience, processes, and strategy;
Map out our marketing efforts so far, checking learnings, studying the metrics, and connecting with partners (agencies, associations, 3rd media);
Take the first steps in the planning process - DACH marketing calendar 2023.
After 6 months
Own the marketing calendar and execute the strategy to engage local agencies in our community;
Executing the first activities related to the local media partners, sponsorships, and local events;
Analyze the performance of our activities and craft an optimization plan.
After 8 months
Focus on community management: build and scale programs that drive membership, engagement, and use the outcomes to feed product innovation, and feedback cycle.
