Your job
As a Global Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute a full-funnel, global content strategy. You will capture demand within our target audience by creating, repurposing, and distributing high-quality content for a global audience.
Your role is to scale our content production globally and create content experiences that connect with our audience. You'll also work on thought leadership content and campaigns, helping Channable become the go-to source for best practices in eCommerce marketing.
Your goal is to drive awareness and desired perception for Channable’s brand. This way you impact every part of the customer journey, and educate and inspire our audience to turn Channable into a loved brand.
Your challenges
In a nutshell:
Lead the shift in our content strategy towards demand generation, including ungated content distribution best practices across different channels like blog, LinkedIn, and YouTube;
Ensure our content localization strategy and process are running smoothly and find solutions to make it scalable across 5 regions;
Own content distribution to help the shift to a full-blown demand gen strategy;
Focus on repurposing existing content in order to help scale our content efforts;
Be a driving force for innovation in the content space to make sure Channable’s brand is constantly visible, engaging, and relevant for our target audience and their sales journey;
Use a smart, data-driven approach to content by defining clear KPIs that ensure we drive results with a measurable impact. Work with the SEO specialist to undertake regular content gap analysis and audits to understand areas for improving content;
Own the website optimization project together with the Creative Lead and the Technical SEO Specialist to ensure our website is ever-evolving according to industry developments;
Manage key content projects cross-functionally, working with designers, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure that high-quality assets are developed on time;
Collaborate with the Country Marketing, Performance and Product teams to identify and develop content that encourages product adoption, engagement, and advocacy;
Analyze content performance, blog engagement, and observe trends in reader behavior.
Your journey at Channable
First 3 months:
Understand our business, market, audience, processes, and strategy
Audit our content and refine the strategy
Map out topics to fit the overall goals
Work with the Technical SEO specialist to optimize and create new content
After 6 months:
Craft and lead the content strategy for our global campaigns
After 8 months
Define a strategy for optimizing our top-performing channels and scaling results
Who are you?
You have:
5-8 years experience in similar content marketing roles;
Experience with owning content calendars and creative campaigns;
Experience with tracking and measuring impact of copy/content/creative campaigns;
Experience in working with insights to craft ideas starting from deep insights and consumer research;
Excellent organizational and project management skills;
A sense for storytelling and creating engaging content that aligns with our target audience;
Good knowledge of content management systems (CMS) is a plus;
Excellent mastery of the English language (preferably your first language);
You have experience with content marketing for B2B, SaaS companies, start-ups, eCommerce, or another similar industry;
Good understanding of Google Analytics or other analysis tools to be able to gain performance insights on produced content;
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, brand management English or related field.
Practical requirements
You are living in Utrecht, or at least travel distance to our Utrecht office;
You are willing to come to our Utrecht office min. 2 days/week;
You are available for at least 32 hours per week.
