Product & UX Designer

Your job:

A Product & UX Designer at Channable is a problem solver. In this role, you will be responsible for truly understanding how customers think and solve their problems. You talk with our customers directly or work together with the Product Owners at Channable to understand what problems customers are facing. You will then use this knowledge to build user interaction flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for improving the customer experience. Our product development teams will use these to build out fully-fledged features. You will focus on product design for Channable’s main platform.

Your challenges:

• Maintain the design system with a vision based on our product, brand, and company strategy

• Collaborate with our product teams to incorporate a new design system into our application. You provide design documentation and guidelines on how to use the design system

• Perform user research and communicate with our product owners to understand what our users are facing and have a complete understanding of the product domain

• Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences

• Own the process of discovery & design in our product teams. You understand the domain and customer problems and solve them by building wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups

Who are you?

You are a pioneer and like building things from scratch. You are passionate about creating great user experiences. It’s easy for you to understand our users' needs, and you love to discover the ‘problem behind the problem’. You are a UX and UI problem solver and you enjoy following the latest trends in UX and design strategies. You thrive in a typical scale-up: an environment that changes all the time. And where you have the freedom to do things your way and you love to share your insights with the team.

Skills and experience

• Approximately 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

• Proficient with Figma and familiar with other prototyping apps.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces

• Experience with conducting user research to understand users and identify possible problems and solutions

• Great communications skills, with a strong ability to communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and teams

Practical requirements

• Available for at least 4 days a week, preferably 5.

• Living in the Netherlands, or willing to relocate.

• You are an EU citizen or hold a valid work permit for the Netherlands.
