Job description

Join our People & Culture team in a dynamic SaaS scale-up in the heart of Utrecht!🧡

Coming to the office in your sneakers, working together with amazing colleagues, and staying late at the bar on Fridays?👟 Working at Channable means working with diverse and fun people who trust and help you along the way.🗺️ 🙂At Channable you can enjoy the informal start-up vibe, but you’re also part of a professional and globally growing SaaS company. Channable started only 9 years ago and in that short time, we’ve become a market leader in the Benelux while growing our diverse team to more than +250 enthusiastic colleagues.🧑‍🤝‍🧑

Your job

Our HR team is on the lookout for a new colleague to join us in the role of HR Support. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain insights into all facets of HR. Initially, you'll be handling a diverse range of administrative and organizational HR tasks. As you settle into the role, you'll gradually take on more responsibilities and become involved in various projects.

Channable is experiencing rapid growth, and our HR department requires dedicated support for its administrative needs. This is a position with a wide array of tasks, making it a dynamic role. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy organizing, multitasking, and setting priorities, this could be an ideal fit for you.

You’ll be working closely with your 3 HR advisor team members and 6 other colleagues from the People & Culture team.

Your challenges

The main focus of this position is to support the HR advisors (Britt, Kübra and Tim) with all ongoing administrative and coordinative tasks and responsibilities. Besides that, you are the go-to person for employees if they have any questions about practical HR things like employee contracts, vacation days, L&D budgets etc.

We like to challenge you to eventually broaden the scope of your position by showing great accuracy, ownership and clear communication. If you show that you can handle all the recurring tasks, we’ll involve you in more projects and see if we can add more responsibilities to your role.

Here’s a list of some of your responsibilities;

  • Carrying out administrative tasks like drafting employment agreements and salary or contract changes, processing HR requests such as L&D requests and buying vacation days and processing sick leave;

  • Answering HR-related questions from all coworkers;

  • Preparing our monthly payroll and benefit mutations;

  • Assisting with the monthly employee onboarding (e.g. preparing goodie-bags, administration);

  • Creating and preparing various HR reports using systems like Personio and Verzuimsignaal;

  • Writing and updating HR-related articles and blogs on our internal website;
