Product Lead (Marketplaces)

Your job:

The product team thrives on strong product leadership. A Product Lead at Channable is therefore an excellent product manager, strategizer and professional coach in one. They steer the product domain based on clear product management fundamentals. As well as report to the Group Product Manager on feature(s) KPIs and strategies to improve them. While also coaching and mentoring their direct reports. As a result, a Product Lead has the overall responsibility for the long term success of their product domain and sub-team.

Your challenges:

Your Team Lead responsibilities will include:

• Mentor team-members to effectively combine qualitative and quantitative data to support strategic product decisions

• Providing full cycle (hiring, onboarding, reviewing, offboarding) management of team members with the support of our People & Culture team

• Delegating work to match team member skills and interests with Channable’s goals

• Making career development opportunities with team members attainable and actionable

• Promote open communication and foster a positive team culture

Your Product Management responsibilities will include:

• Build out a long-term strategy for the Marketplaces domain, making product priority decisions by mapping it to product goals.

• Perform data retrieval and analysis to aid in strategic planning and analysis of product goals (outcomes)

• Facilitate large scale feedback/discovery events (f.e. round-tables) & enable continuous discovery for your team

• Manages and optimizes product operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Provides structured guidance for your team in task prioritization in line with organizational goals

• Be a Marketplaces authority within communities of interest surrounding your domain

Who are you?

As a Product Lead:

• You have a proven track record of discovery, building and marketing SaaS products, preferably within e-commerce and digital marketing.

• You have this because you have been working in product-management or -marketing roles for approximately 5+ years.

• With this knowledge, you are able to resolve complex and abstract issues that require a high level of personal initiatives, a thorough understanding of the business of ecommerce, listings/data management and selling on Marketplaces. And be able to apply this knowledge to craft 1-3 year product strategies for your domain.

• Next to that you can also counsel and coach product managers in your team. You do this based on an approximately 1+ year of experience of managing (jr.) product managers in setting and achieving their personal as well as organizational goals. Through continuous support and clear communication you foster a working environment in which experimenting is encouraged and growth stimulated.

• Finally you have the innate ability to filter information based on who you are communicating to. Providing analysis and strategy driven reports to (product) leadership and detailed instructions to your team members when required.

• A salary ranging between 4.688 and 5.503 euros gross per month, in line with your experience and skills and based on the Product Lead career structure.
